Salary: $101,100 — $134,300 USD

What you will do

• Develop scalable server-side features using Windows Server, SQL Server, IIS, .NET, and C#.
• Build web services for game console clients, browser clients, and external servers.
• Architect highly reliable distributed server systems.
• Optimize web performance.
• Collaborate with technology teams across worldwide studios.
• Improve existing online services like matchmaking, cloud saves, leaderboards, and player stats.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience developing scalable distributed systems
• Expert in C# and/or C++
• Strong CS fundamentals, including OO design patterns
• Experience with API design and development
• Knowledge of web service scalability, performance, and security
• Database development experience (MSSQL)
• Experience with source control, preferably Perforce

Nice to have

• Experience building online gaming systems, commerce, social networking, or search systems
• Shipped titles on console or PC, preferably Xbox/PlayStation
• Familiarity with networking systems (DNS, NAT, firewalls, P2P, client-server)
• Experience with online game service APIs (Xbox Live, Sony NP)
• Knowledge of Agile processes
