What you will do

• Design and implement scalable API architectures to support the integration ecosystem.
• Drive the migration of legacy endpoints to modern RESTful and event-driven patterns.
• Define API contracts, versioning strategies, and governance standards.
• Build and optimize API consumers and producers with a focus on performance and security.
• Mentor the team through code reviews, pairing, and establishing AI-augmented development workflows.
• Collaborate with product and partner teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in web application development, including 3+ years in cloud-native environments.
• Proficiency in Azure, .NET/C#, ASP.NET Core, and SQL Server.
• Strong expertise in designing microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with API gateways and management best practices.
• Demonstrated use of AI-assisted development tools in professional workflows.
• Solid understanding of SOLID principles, unit testing, and OAuth 2.0.

Nice to have

• Experience in HCM or payroll domains.
• Familiarity with Azure Dapr, Service Bus, Container Apps, or CDC tools like Debezium.
• Experience with Cosmos DB or NoSQL databases.
