What you will do

• Design and architect scalable SaaS applications built on .NET and modern cloud services.
• Translate business needs into robust technical designs, integration strategies, and platform roadmaps.
• Lead the adoption of cloud services, frameworks, and design patterns to ensure scalability, security, and operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with security and privacy standards such as SOC 2 and public sector requirements.
• Mentor development teams in C#/.NET, API-first design, and DevOps automation using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Monitor and optimize system performance and reliability through proactive architectural governance.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Software Architect or Technical Lead building cloud-based SaaS solutions using .NET and C#.
• Deep understanding of Azure PaaS components including App Services, Functions, and Azure SQL.
• Proficiency with microservices, event-driven systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps and infrastructure as code (Bicep, Terraform, or ARM templates).
• Familiarity with API development, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and Azure AD.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI/ML services in cloud environments (Azure OpenAI or Cognitive Services).
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or DevOps Engineer Expert certification.
• Experience implementing identity management and access control for enterprise or government-grade applications.
• Familiarity with Power Platform or low-code/no-code integrations.
