What you will do

• Lead, coach, and retain a high-performing team of approximately 10 senior and principal engineers in a remote environment.
• Manage individual development and career progression through regular 1:1s and actionable feedback.
• Coordinate delivery across multiple teams, proactively managing dependencies, risks, and blockers.
• Ensure alignment with engineering standards, including AI development practices, Terraform IaC, and event governance.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning.
• Provide hands-on technical contribution through code reviews, tooling improvements, and implementation support.

Requirements

• 5+ years of engineering experience, including at least 2 years in an engineering management role.
• Proven track record of managing senior and principal-level engineers.
• Strong program coordination skills with the ability to drive multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Sufficient technical depth to participate in architecture discussions and provide technical guidance.
• Excellent communication skills for translating complex technical concepts to senior leadership.
• Must be based in the USA.

Nice to have

• Experience with .NET/C#, Azure, or distributed systems.
• Background in system modernization, migration, or decomposition initiatives.
• Domain expertise in Human Capital Management (HCM).
