What you will do
- Lead the evolution of large-scale multi-cloud and co-location footprints from legacy maintenance to a proactive, engineering-led model.
- Establish SLOs, error budgets, and robust testing frameworks to ensure IaC configurations meet scalability and reliability standards.
- Manage the technical execution of re-architecting and redeploying on-premises services into GCP.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional career development for Senior and Staff SREs.
- Oversee platform architecture to ensure availability, performance, and robust monitoring of back-end systems.
- Embed DevSecOps principles across the organization to maintain strict security and data protection standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud and hybrid datacenter operations focusing on IaC and SRE.
- Minimum of 4 years of previous management experience.
- Must be based in the United States (excluding California).
- Not eligible for immigration sponsorship (H-1B, PERM, etc.).
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering.
- Google Associate Cloud Engineer or Google Cloud Architect certifications.
- Proficiency in ArgoCD, GitOps, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Experience with Open Telemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
- Deep knowledge of SRE principles including SLI/SLO, TOIL reduction, and Root Cause Analysis.
