What you will do

• Manage general cost accounting and maintain the company's general ledger.
• Prepare monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements.
• Perform bank reconciliations and manage accounts receivable and payable collections.
• Coordinate with outside auditors to provide necessary documentation for annual audits.
• File tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies.
• Maintain and recommend updates for accounting software systems in coordination with vendors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles and payroll regulations.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, bill.com, and Expensify.
• Advanced Excel skills, specifically with PivotTables.
• Ability to work from the Santa Barbara office.
