What you will do

• Maintain day-to-day accounting activities ensuring US GAAP compliance and audit readiness.
• Prepare account reconciliations, summaries, and journal entries for commissions, salaries, and equity.
• Collaborate with Payroll, Commissions, and Stock Admin teams to record transactions accurately.
• Optimize and automate the monthly close process to improve reporting efficiency.
• Perform financial analysis to highlight trends and variances for management.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing deliverables and responding to inquiries.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in public accounting or industry.
• Experience with Equity/SBC and Payroll.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• High proficiency in Excel.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States is required.
• Hybrid work: Expectation to be in the office at least three days per week in San Francisco.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA certification.
• Experience with NetSuite and Carta.
• Knowledge of ASC 340 (contract acquisition costs) and ASC 71X (compensation).
