Location: Must be based in the United States (Remote)

Salary: $220K – $250K + Equity

What you will do

  • Establish and maintain accounting policies in accordance with US GAAP, including monitoring FASB and SEC developments.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements and maintain a strong internal control environment.
  • Analyze and document accounting implications for complex transactions, including M&A and new product launches.
  • Partner with Finance, Product, Legal, and external auditors to ensure accurate and timely reporting outcomes.
  • Lead the modernization of reporting processes, systems, and controls to support company scale.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of accounting experience in financial services, fintech, or a high-growth technology environment.
  • Deep expertise in US GAAP and technical accounting research.
  • Experience translating complex accounting guidance into practical business decisions.
  • Proven ability to build and improve internal controls in a scaling organization.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills for working with auditors, regulators, and executives.
  • Must be based in the United States.
