TL;DR
Workday HRIS Specialist (HRIS/Workday): Maintaining and supporting the Workday HRIS platform, including modules for reporting, compensation, and payroll, with an accent on system stability and data integrity. Focus on configuring Workday modules, conducting user acceptance testing (UAT), and optimizing internal reporting for stakeholders.
Location: Hybrid (San Diego, CA) — approximately 1 day per week in the office.
Salary: $68,000 – $90,000 annually

What you will do
- Review, adjust, and maintain bonus plans within the Advanced Compensation module and create new plans as needed.
- Create and distribute optimized Workday Reports for Payroll teams and internal stakeholders.
- Support the post-go-live stabilization process, including data validation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and stakeholder training.
- Maintain data integrity across all Human Resources systems and perform regular quality checks.
- Facilitate the implementation of new HRIS upgrades and system changes.
- Respond to system inquiries promptly with an exceptional level of customer service.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 3+ years of relevant work experience.
- Experience with Workday HRIS is a must, specifically with Advanced Compensation and Payroll.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge.
- Must be based in or able to work hybrid in San Diego, CA.
- Meticulous, detail-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Workday Core HCM and Performance Management.
- Experience with the implementation and transition of new software systems.
- Education or a strong interest in the HR field.
