What you will do

• Direct a software development team working on a distributed software platform.
• Manage, coach, and develop team members to drive accountability and change.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to translate business needs into technical roadmaps and requirements.
• Lead cross-disciplinary projects involving hardware, mechanical, and software engineering deliverables.
• Liaise with customers on critical project deliverables and technical issues.
• Establish software engineering best practices and provide progress metrics to senior leadership.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience building large-scale, mission-critical, high-availability production systems.
• Proficiency in Linux development and good knowledge of Windows development.
• Strong working knowledge of at least two of the following: C, C++, C#, Python, or Java.
• Familiarity with UI frameworks such as Qt, WPF, or web-based industrial UI stacks.
• Experience designing runtime UIs that interact with backend APIs and hardware components.
• Must be based in North Reading, MA, US
