What you will do

• Develop and maintain high-efficiency microservices for Core Marketing Platforms to enable real-time communications and promotions.
• Design and implement systems capable of handling large volumes of real-time data for targeted marketing.
• Define future system architecture and integrate modern technologies while improving existing operational systems.
• Lead strategic projects and provide technical coaching and mentorship to other software engineers.
• Write secure, stable, and maintainable code following software engineering best practices.
• Participate in team design, scoping, prioritization discussions, and on-call support rotations.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong backend expertise with Java and Microservice Architecture.
• Experience with AWS and DevOps concepts, specifically IaC using Terraform.
• Proficiency with AWS events and serverless technologies (SNS/SQS, Kafka, Step Functions, Lambdas).
• Strong grasp of relational/non-relational databases, messaging queues, and concurrency handling.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Atlanta, GA office.
