What you will do

• Analyze accounting and tax workflows to identify opportunities for AI-enabled automation.
• Build and maintain centralized documentation, process maps, and knowledge resources for finance operations.
• Evaluate and test AI tools, LLMs, and workflow automation platforms for accounting use cases.
• Develop solutions for invoice processing, reconciliations, tax data gathering, and research workflows.
• Prepare presentations and recommendations for finance leadership.
• Partner with accounting and operations teams to improve efficiency and reporting processes.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or Business Analytics.
• Strong interest in AI applications within accounting and business operations.
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets, structured data, and process-oriented problem solving.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Must be based in or able to work from the San Jose office 4 days per week.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Microsoft Copilot.
• Exposure to accounting, tax, or financial operations concepts.
• Experience with process mapping, Tableau, PowerBI, or Alteryx.
