What you will do

• Design and manage the Month-End Close Calendar, including all journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Prepare high-quality, audit-ready financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Cash Flow Statements.
• Act as the primary lead for the Annual External Audit, managing the PBC list and financial statement disclosures.
• Supervise the Accounts Payable function and monitor daily bank positions for cash flow forecasting.
• Partner with the CFO team to provide Actuals for Budget vs. Actual (BVA) analysis.
• Identify manual bottleneck processes and lead the transition to automated solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Required).
• Active CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) license.
• 5+ years of combined public and private accounting/finance experience.
• Expert knowledge of GAAP or IFRS.
• High proficiency in NetSuite and advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Macros).
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Accounting or an MBA.
• Proficiency with automated tools such as Bill.com and Ramp.
• Deep understanding of ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition) and SaaS metrics (CAC, LTV, Churn).
