What you will do

• Design, implement, and test resource-constrained edge software using Python and Rust.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD processes for embedded systems with a focus on reproducibility and regression testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, QA, and data science engineers.
• Provide high-quality code and architecture reviews while offering technical leadership.
• Implement precision telemetry collection and real-time control interfaces.
• Advocate for process improvement and automation across the engineering lifecycle.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience with at least 3 years in production software development.
• Extensive experience with Python, C/C++, Rust, and Linux.
• Demonstrated ability to design distributed systems in resource-constrained environments.
• Experience with device-layered security, encryption, and kernel-level libraries.
• Strong understanding of network communication protocols like gRPC, MQTT, and ZeroMQ.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with the NVIDIA Jetson Platform and ML software stack.
• Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) for IoT device management.
• Familiarity with Docker, containerization, and orchestration tools.
• Experience with control systems applications like SCADA or power systems.
