What you will do

• Configure and maintain data ingestion pipelines for healthcare sources like claims, eligibility, and prior auth.
• Debug ingestion failures and implement durable fixes using SQL, dbt, and Python.
• Collaborate with data scientists to translate ambiguous requirements into concrete mapping and validation logic.
• Orchestrate and automate data pipelines using Dagster and GitHub Actions.
• Monitor pipeline health using Datadog and PagerDuty to drive root-cause fixes.
• Contribute to a complex dbt monorepo by implementing transformations, tests, and documentation.

Requirements

• Strong SQL skills and experience working with complex data projects.
• Working knowledge of Python for data investigation and analysis.
• Experience operating and debugging data pipelines in production environments.
• Familiarity with dbt and interest in scaling expertise within complex projects.
• Experience with data quality testing and incident triage.
• Must be authorized to work in the US and comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with healthcare data (claims, eligibility, ADT).
• Experience with Databricks and modern data orchestration tools.
