What you will do

• Operate 600-15-gallon making vessels and pre-weigh raw materials to stage batches.
• Monitor making equipment and batch conditions, including temperature, mixing speeds, viscosity, pH, and color.
• Conduct root cause analysis to determine reasons for deviations in the making process or equipment performance.
• Perform basic equipment troubleshooting, routine repairs, and preventative maintenance.
• Collect and report plant measurements related to asset utilization, quality, and batch yields.
• Ensure all operational activities align with plant goals and safety procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma required (Associates degree in a related field is a plus).
• Ability to lift 25 kilograms (55 pounds) and operate valves and flanges routinely.
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs and work at heights.
• Must be able to support a 3-shift operation, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in basic mathematics.
• Strong attention to detail for calculating grams and kilograms.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in weighing, making, or blending.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues in weighing materials.
• Experience with SAP, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
