What you will do

• Prepare incoming materials for testing or refined cuts using saws.
• Assist with the operation of manual mills and lathes.
• Review cut sheets and determine appropriate machining steps.
• Manage specimen identification and material disposal.
• Perform general machine maintenance and report repair needs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Must be a U.S. Person (citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) due to ITAR compliance.
• Must be willing to work both day and night shifts.
• Competence with scales and simple measuring tools.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment.
