What you will do

• Lead and mentor large laboratory operations teams of up to 100 people focused on advanced molecular and multiomic workflows.
• Act as a critical point of escalation for complex technical hurdles in genomics and functional genomics.
• Design and deploy AI/ML models to identify operational bottlenecks and predict process failures.
• Bridge communication between Lab Operations, Bioinformatics, and Development teams to ensure successful product launches.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and translate them into viable, productized scalable services.
• Partner with business units to define product-market fit and conduct deep-dive assessments on service costing and infrastructure.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Genomics, Bioinformatics, or related field.
• 12+ years of post-degree industry experience.
• Mastery of NGS, functional genomics (CRISPR/Screening), and multiomic integration in a CLIA/CAP environment.
• Proven experience in the business of science, including costing models, resource planning, and product life cycle management.
• Ability to communicate complex technical failures to software engineers and financial models to executive leadership.
