Location: Must be based in or able to work from New York, NY or San Francisco, CA. Role requires in-office attendance on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

Salary: $190,000–$220,000 per year.

What you will do

• Act as the primary voice of the developer community, fostering strong relationships between external builders and internal Product and Engineering teams.
• Create and publish technical content including demos, guides, API references, and blog posts.
• Own the strategy for developer presence at hackathons, conferences, and key community channels like Slack and X.
• Partner with Engineering and Product teams to influence API improvements and guide the community through roadmap updates.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales to demonstrate the value of developer features to customers.

Requirements

• Solid technical background with a proven track record in the developer community.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of interfacing with both individual developers and large audiences.
• Experience building programs from 0 to 1 and managing projects on tight deadlines.
• Previous experience as a Developer Advocate, Engineer, or Product Manager at an API-first company.
• Intellectual curiosity and willingness to use AI tools to enhance productivity and creativity.
