TL;DR

Head of Automotive Business: Responsible for leading and growing Dolby's automotive business line, focusing on scaling the business and expanding beyond the premium segment. Focus on developing a segmented market view, defining product roadmaps, and executing go-to-market strategies within the automotive industry.

Location: Must work from the San Francisco or Nuremberg office 2-3 days per week.

Salary: 259,000 - 408,500 USD (San Francisco/Bay Area base salary range)

What you will do

• Set the vision, craft the strategy, and execute the strategy for the Automotive business within Dolby.
• Act as a general manager, collaborating with other key functions to deliver value and grow the Dolby business.
• Scale the business in terms of revenue and product scope, developing a segmented view of the market.
• Identify new market opportunities and define products, creating a long-term product roadmap.
• Develop Go-to-Market strategies for the Automotive business.
• Decide the priority of different product and business initiatives.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of the infotainment segment within the automotive industry.
• Technical expertise equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in engineering or science.
• Knowledge of the automotive industry, including vehicle manufacturing, segmentation, and sales.
• Has Product DNA with a track record of delivering value through products.
• Ability to handle complexity and simplify it for others.
• Sets and enforces enterprise-level standards for confidential data handling, ensuring compliance with GDPR and internal governance frameworks.
• Willingness to travel.
