What you will do

• Develop and validate cooling systems using 1D simulation tools and CFD analysis.
• Select cooling system layouts, heat exchangers, and fans for new product development.
• Collaborate with design and validation teams to correlate analysis models with lab and field test data.
• Provide simulation support for electrification projects and diesel-powered applications.
• Conduct component-level CFD analysis to evaluate performance characteristics and predict temperatures.
• Contribute to the improvement of simulation methods and technical specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Agricultural, or Aerospace Engineering (or related field) with 2+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 1+ year of experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
• Must work onsite five days a week in Chillicothe, IL.
• Proficiency in 1D and 3D simulation tools (e.g., GT-Suite, AMESim).
• Experience with CFD software (e.g., Fluent, Star-CCM+, Simerics, OpenFOAM).
• Experience with mesh generation (e.g., Hypermesh, ANSA) and post-processing software (e.g., Ensight, ParaView).
