What you will do

• Design and develop mechanical components, including enclosures, grommets, and brackets, for low to high-volume production.
• Lead module development and manage tier-one supplier programs from prototype to production.
• Execute packaging reviews and detailed tolerance stack-up analyses.
• Validate mechanical designs using structural, modal, and thermal analyses.
• Develop detailed production work instructions in collaboration with manufacturing teams.
• Perform failure mode analysis to identify root causes and integrate mitigation strategies into new designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in vehicle design.
• Experience with mechanical design for power electronic devices.
• Proficiency with CATIA V5 or V6 CAD software.
• Experience with metal casting and plastic injection molding.
• Experience managing requirements and compliance in Polarion.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Jira.
• Experience at an automotive OEM.
• Familiarity with industry testing standards such as SAE, MIL, UN, UL, GB/T, and GTR.
