TL;DR

Senior Registrar Operations Lead (Domains): Ensuring operational excellence across the domains business by managing complex escalations, compliance, and registry partnerships with an accent on domain lifecycle management and technical problem-solving. Focus on driving automation, improving operational workflows, and mitigating domain abuse in collaboration with Engineering, Legal, and Security teams.

Location: Must be based in the United States (Remote or Hybrid in NYC).

Salary: $115,500 - $227,500 USD

What you will do

  • Act as the senior escalation owner for high-impact domain-related customer issues.
  • Manage UDRP cases, registry compliance, and enforcement actions in partnership with Legal.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and provide guidance on complex domain workflows.
  • Collaborate with Security and Trust teams to identify and mitigate domain abuse.
  • Partner with Engineering to drive automation and scalability of registrar operations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for registries and external partners.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in the domain industry, registrar operations, or compliance.
  • Deep expertise in domain lifecycle management across gTLDs and ccTLDs.
  • Strong knowledge of ICANN policies, UDRP processes, and GDPR.
  • Hands-on experience with EPP, REST APIs, DNS, and registry platforms.
  • Proven ability to partner with Engineering to reduce manual operations.
  • Must be based in the United States.
