Java Developer (Fintech)

Location: Kraków, Poland; hybrid model with 3 days per week in the office, or 2 days for a parent of a child up to 4 years old.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement business-critical low-code/no-code applications forming a business process platform for business teams.
• Develop application code and automated tests for distributed computing systems.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to architecture, design, standards, and technology configuration decisions.
• Work with testers and business users to identify issues related to functionality, scalability, testability, security, and resiliency.
• Build and support CI/CD automation, analyze test and production issues, and conduct technical research.
• Train, mentor, and guide junior team members and assist with hiring qualified personnel.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience as a Java Developer, including demonstrated contributions to system design and architecture.
• Excellent communication skills and a good working command of English.
• Experience with test and build automation using CI/CD pipelines.
• In-depth understanding of databases, popular web frameworks, and enterprise integration concepts including queues, publish-subscribe, and REST APIs.
• Experience with microservice architecture.
• Core technical skills in Spring, SQL, Hibernate, and Kafka.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and knowledge of OpenShift, Docker, and Kubernetes.
