Co-Founder, CEO (Battery Manufacturing): Leading the commercialization and industrial scale-up of a novel lithium-ion battery manufacturing platform with an accent on market adoption, fundraising, and strategic partnerships. Focus on building a high-growth climate tech venture, managing complex industrial operations, and driving the transition to sustainable battery production in Europe.
Location: Primarily Sweden, France, or Germany; relocation support is available to these geographies.

Marble is a climate tech venture studio partnering with scientists, engineers, and operators to build companies addressing major climate and industrial challenges.
What you will do
- Lead product strategy, commercialisation, sales, partnerships, and market adoption.
- Build the company, team, supplier network, and operating model from the ground up.
- Lead venture and non-dilutive fundraising, including seed fundraising and investor relationships.
- Drive industrial scale-up of a novel lithium-ion battery manufacturing platform.
- Work with the CTO and Co-Founder to develop prototypes and prepare for real-world performance validation.
- Develop applications for electric vehicles, grid storage, and other battery markets.
Requirements
- Entrepreneurial motivation to start and build a company from scratch.
- Experience or potential in CEO-level activities and commercialisation of early-stage technologies.
- Outstanding communication skills for engaging partners and stakeholders.
- Background as a startup founder, operator, VC, battery-industry commercial operator, or infrastructure leader.
- Interest in e-mobility, lithium-ion batteries, climate change mitigation, and relocalising battery manufacturing to Europe.
- Must be based in Sweden, France, or Germany, or willing to relocate.
Nice to have
- Deep tech, hardware, battery, or adjacent technology experience.
- Experience across battery sourcing, cell manufacturing, or offtake negotiations.
- Project finance and project development experience related to gigafactory construction.
