What you will do

• Lead the design, development, and validation of mechanical assemblies and product systems.
• Perform CAD modeling, tolerance analysis, and strength calculations for new product development.
• Apply engineering principles including FMEA and DVP&R to ensure design quality.
• Develop and execute validation strategies, including testing at certified labs and field validation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing teams.
• Mentor entry-level engineers and contribute to internal engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development.
• Must have the current and continuing right to work in the United States of America.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as Creo or Solidworks.
• Advanced knowledge of FMEA, DVP&R, and manufacturing processes (plastics, metals, composites).
• Ability to travel to local customer sites and occasional domestic travel.
