Engineering Manager Filtration - R&D (m/w/d)

What you will do

• Provide professional and disciplinary leadership for an interdisciplinary filtration innovation team.
• Manage new filtration product and system development from concept and prototyping through handover to the new product development process.
• Lead technical work covering filtration media, fluid mechanics, pressure systems, material selection, and system design.
• Plan, monitor, and evaluate laboratory trials, prototype testing, and validation programs.
• Ensure robust and reproducible test results, perform root-cause analyses, and derive technical actions.
• Collaborate with product development, product management, production, quality, sales, and external partners while identifying new technologies and market trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, natural sciences, or a comparable field; a Master’s degree is advantageous.
• Several years of experience in product development, R&D, or an innovation environment, ideally in filtration or fluid technology.
• At least 3 years of experience leading and developing technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of filtration principles, fluid mechanics, pressure systems, and material science fundamentals.
• Experience managing multiple innovation and development projects with prioritization and accountability for results.
• Very good written and spoken English, together with strong communication and leadership skills.
