What you will do

• Conduct CAE formability analysis and stamping process assessments for large stamped panels.
• Collaborate with die engineers, design studios, and product engineers to develop balanced integrated systems designs.
• Run iterations to optimize manufacturing conditions and resolve issues such as splits, wrinkles, and surface defects.
• Provide manufacturing input and engineering criteria to Styling and Product Engineering teams.
• Prepare handoff documents and math data of manufacturing product releases to production die sources.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10 years of experience as a Design Engineer, Lead Engineer, or related role.
• 8 years of experience with Manufacturing CAE in Die and Stamping using software like Autoform, Dynaform, Pamstamp, or LS-DYNA.
• 5 years of experience with Die Processing, NX, Vis Mockup, and Teamcenter Engineering.
• 3 years of experience in CAD surfacing, Die Design, and Die Execution and Tryout.
