Marketing Science Lead (Marketing Analytics): Leading marketing science projects and managing a team of analysts to demonstrate the value of data-driven insights for stakeholders with an accent on measurement, reporting, and statistical modeling. Focus on optimizing digital marketing performance, developing measurement strategies, and mentoring analysts to translate data into actionable recommendations.

Location: Hybrid in Calgary, Canada (minimum 3 days per week in office)

What you will do

  • Lead the development and execution of measurement strategies to optimize digital performance.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of analysts, overseeing their priorities and deliverables.
  • Ensure analyses, dashboards, and reports meet client needs and provide actionable insights.
  • Oversee data flow mapping and implementation while ensuring compliance with data governance.
  • Provide thought leadership on analytics methodology and technology.
  • Support senior colleagues with analytics materials for new business pitches and RFPs.

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in a quantitative or technical field (e.g., Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science).
  • 5+ years of experience in digital analytics and performance measurement.
  • Expertise in at least two areas: data architecture (ETL), automated reporting, data science, or website systems implementation.
  • Proficiency with visualization platforms such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Proven experience directing and mentoring analysts.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft 365 and strong client-facing communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Programming experience with Python, R, or SQL.
  • Experience with third-party data tools like Brandwatch or Pathmatics.
  • Experience with website experimentation platforms (Optimizely, Adobe Target) or Customer Data Platforms (CDP).
