TL;DR

Principal Product Manager (Microsoft Advertising): Leading SMB onboarding and support experiences to reduce friction and improve customer activation and retention with an accent on intelligent assistance and streamlined workflows. Focus on owning the product vision and roadmap for scalable support experiences in a fast-moving AI environment.

Location: Must be based in Redmond, United States (Expected to work from the office at least four days per week)

Salary: $142,800 – $274,800 per year

What you will do

  • Define the long-term vision and roadmap for SMB onboarding and support experiences to help customers activate and grow.
  • Translate SMB customer pain points into scalable product capabilities that reduce friction and improve outcomes.
  • Drive execution and clear prioritization across multiple engineering and product teams in a fast-paced AI environment.
  • Collaborate with Data Science and analytics teams to measure experience quality and drive continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Sales, Support, Marketing, and Legal to ensure experiences are useful, compliant, and trustworthy.
  • Lead the launch and iteration strategy to drive measurable gains in customer activation and long-term value.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years of experience in product/service/program management or software development.
  • Must reside within a 50-mile commute of the Redmond office and work onsite at least four days per week.
  • Strong track record of building customer-facing product experiences that improve activation and retention.
  • Ability to navigate high ambiguity and make critical prioritization and tradeoff decisions.

Nice to have

  • 12+ years of experience in product/service/program management or software development.
  • 5+ years of experience in developing digital advertising products.
