What you will do

• Build and operate scalable data services and APIs to power personalization and analytics across hirify.global.
• Own end-to-end cloud infrastructure using Azure, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.
• Ensure production reliability for critical data systems through monitoring, incident response, and DRI ownership.
• Drive performance, cost efficiency, and security compliance across all data pipelines and services.
• Develop and maintain shared C++ telemetry libraries used by gameplay systems and services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience (or 3+ with a Master's) in software development, data engineering, or data modeling.
• Must be based in or be able to work from Redmond, Washington, USA.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Professional experience developing production systems in C++ (C++14/17/20).
• Proficiency in C# or Python for building platform tooling and ingestion services.
• Experience with Azure-based data systems, Spark, or Databricks.
• Familiarity with serialization frameworks such as JSON, Protobuf, or FlatBuffers.
• Passion for Minecraft and knowledge of the games industry.
