Salary: $138,600 – $163,300 per year

What you will do

• Lead and scale a high-performing organization of 20+ engineers, building clear career pathways and a culture of technical excellence.
• Drive the QMARS ecosystem roadmap, overseeing system architecture and ensuring long-term code health through technical guidance and code reviews.
• Implement and evangelize a high-maturity CI/CD methodology to enhance the Developer Experience, ensuring fast and secure pipelines.
• Provide technical oversight for the design, development, and operational aspects of software systems to align with business objectives.
• Bridge the gap between technical execution and mission goals, identifying ways for modern engineering to reduce provider burden.
• Manage client relationships and support business development by providing technical expertise for proposals.

Requirements

• US Citizenship or Green Card only (no sponsorship provided).
• US Residency for at least the past 3 years.
• Ability to obtain and hold a US Government Public Trust clearance.
• Experience leading and mentoring large engineering organizations (20+ engineers).
• Proficiency in synthesizing disparate systems (AWS, Pega, Analytics, DevOps) into a cohesive architecture.
• Expertise in implementing high-maturity CI/CD methodologies beyond basic automation.

Nice to have

• Experience with government contracting, specifically with federal agencies like CMS.
• Direct experience with the Pega ecosystem, particularly the transition to Constellation (React-based architecture).
