People Operations (HR)

Location: Remote (Must be based in Romania)

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end People Operations for a globally distributed workforce, including onboarding, offboarding, and contract management.
• Partner with the People team to execute performance reviews, compensation cycles, and engagement surveys.
• Build and optimize scalable workflows and self-service experiences to reduce manual effort.
• Maintain accurate people data within BambooHR and provide reporting and visibility to the team.
• Ensure HR compliance, documentation, and audit-readiness across all systems.
• Coordinate with Finance and IT on payroll inputs, EOR processes, and vendor management.

Requirements

• Experience in People Operations or an HR Generalist role owning processes end-to-end.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and data to identify patterns and support decision-making.
• Must be based in Romania.
• Experience in a scaling tech environment with evolving processes.
• Proactive approach to building scalable solutions and using automation or AI.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with UK or EMEA employment practices.
• Experience with BambooHR or similar HRIS tools.
• Experience supporting remote or globally distributed teams.
• Exposure to EOR models and vendor management.
