TL;DR
Senior Quality Engineer (Mobile/React Native): Developing automation frameworks and CI tooling for the Zable mobile app with an accent on AI-assisted quality, E2E automation, and shift-left testing. Location: Hybrid (London, UK). Work from home every Monday and Friday; office attendance required Tuesday through Thursday.

What you will do
- Define and evolve a pragmatic test pyramid for React Native, balancing E2E, Jest, and React Testing Library.
- Build and maintain reliable mobile E2E suites in Maestro and integrate them into GitHub Actions.
- Leverage AI and LLM tooling to accelerate test authoring, triage failures, and identify coverage gaps.
- Partner with product and engineering on shift-left quality, refining acceptance criteria before code is written.
- Analyze production issues using Datadog, Sentry, and Grafana to inform and improve test coverage.
Requirements
- 5+ years in quality engineering or test automation with a focus on suite stability.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript for building helpers and debugging.
- Experience optimizing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) for parallelization and flakiness reduction.
- Proven experience using AI-assisted workflows to improve engineering productivity.
- Must be based in London, UK to support the hybrid office schedule.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with React Native, Maestro, or Detox.
- Experience with Appium, device farms, or emulator orchestration.
- Knowledge of native mobile fundamentals in Swift or Kotlin.
- Expertise in API and contract testing and environment strategies.
