Senior Quality Engineer (Mobile)

TL;DR

What you will do

• Define and evolve a pragmatic test pyramid for React Native, balancing E2E, Jest, and React Testing Library.
• Build and maintain reliable mobile E2E suites in Maestro and integrate them into GitHub Actions.
• Leverage AI and LLM tooling to accelerate test authoring, triage failures, and identify coverage gaps.
• Partner with product and engineering on shift-left quality, refining acceptance criteria before code is written.
• Analyze production issues using Datadog, Sentry, and Grafana to inform and improve test coverage.

Requirements

• 5+ years in quality engineering or test automation with a focus on suite stability.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript for building helpers and debugging.
• Experience optimizing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) for parallelization and flakiness reduction.
• Proven experience using AI-assisted workflows to improve engineering productivity.
• Must be based in London, UK to support the hybrid office schedule.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with React Native, Maestro, or Detox.
• Experience with Appium, device farms, or emulator orchestration.
• Knowledge of native mobile fundamentals in Swift or Kotlin.
• Expertise in API and contract testing and environment strategies.
