What you will do
- Partner with engineering and product teams throughout the software development lifecycle to build quality into features from the beginning.
- Design, build, and maintain automated UI, API, and end-to-end test suites integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
- Define risk-based testing strategies and drive the transition from manual regression to scalable automation.
- Improve testability, investigate production issues, and establish QA automation best practices across engineering teams.
- Use LLMs and AI coding assistants to accelerate test design, automation, and debugging.
- Validate AI-generated code and AI-powered product capabilities for reliability, security, and production readiness.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation, test automation, quality engineering, or software development in test.
- Strong knowledge of software testing principles, risk-based testing, and automation framework design.
- Experience building automated UI and API test suites and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong programming skills in Java, TypeScript, or another modern programming language.
- Experience with Playwright, Cypress, Postman, Jest, or similar automation technologies.
- Hands-on experience with LLM platforms and AI coding assistants, including the ability to review AI-generated outputs.
Nice to have
- Experience testing AI-powered products, LLM applications, RAG systems, or agentic workflows.
- Experience with AI-native or autonomous testing platforms such as Mabl, Testsigma, Katalon TrueTest, KaneAI, or Applitools.
- Experience with production observability, shift-right testing, or prompt engineering for software development and test generation.
- Experience with APIs, cloud-native platforms, AI-enabled systems, or open source.
