Network Engineer (Cloud Services)

Location: Must be able to travel to datacenters throughout the USA as required

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain regional Cloud networks and internal networking infrastructure.
• Lead network engineering activities during the Network Manager's absence.
• Evaluate and deploy customized networking and security solutions tailored to business requirements.
• Provide on-call support on a rotating basis and resolve escalated network issues.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including Visio diagrams and high/low-level designs.
• Perform hardware installation, cabling, and cross-connect coordination in datacenters.

Requirements

• Current Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering and administration.
• Proven experience working within datacenter environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field.
• Ability to travel to datacentres throughout the USA.
• Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and multi-tenant architectures (Fortinet VDOMs, Cisco multi-context).

Nice to have

• Experience with VMware hosts and SAN environments.
• Proficiency with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or Nable.
