What you will do

• Design and deploy Cisco network infrastructure including routers, switches, and Firepower/FTD firewalls across renewable energy sites.
• Configure Cisco SD-WAN architecture and maintain IPsec/GRE tunnels between data centers and field devices.
• Manage site connectivity, LTE failover, and SCADA network integration while ensuring strict segmentation between IT and OT networks.
• Implement network monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure maximum uptime and security.
• Execute cybersecurity compliance activities in accordance with NERC CIP and internal policies.
• Maintain detailed network documentation, IP address plans, and device inventories.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Cisco network engineering focusing on routing, switching, and firewalls.
• Hands-on expertise with Cisco Firepower/FTD, ASA, and SD-WAN platforms.
• Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and VLAN architecture.
• Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments (e.g., NERC CIP).
• Physical ability to lift 70 lbs and climb ladders over 4 feet.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel up to 25% for site deployment.

Nice to have

• Cisco certifications such as CCNA or CCNP.
• Experience with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850).
• Familiarity with SCADA protocols and IT/OT convergence.
• Experience with LTE/cellular failover and remote-access VPN solutions.
