Location: Must be based in the United States (distributed across corporate offices, Basecamps, or Connection Hubs).
Salary: $150,000 – $188,000 + annual bonus and equity.

What you will do
- Lead the design, prioritization, and implementation of experiments to improve key growth metrics.
- Manage three or more direct reports, setting clear performance expectations and developing talent.
- Drive experiment velocity and quality at scale, including for greenfield initiatives.
- Lead cross-department projects by aligning groups around shared goals and outcomes.
- Monitor and report on KPIs related to user growth to senior leadership.
- Coach team members toward stronger innovation using test-and-iterate approaches.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States.
- At least five years of experience directly managing software engineers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Economics, Business, or relevant experience.
- Proven experience in growth engineering with a focus on mobile app growth and engagement.
- Strong technical background in software development and mobile app ecosystems.
- Experience with A/B testing, experimentation, and data analysis tools.
Nice to have
- Deep understanding of Growth Engineering principles vs. Product Engineering.
- Experience collaborating with data analysts and marketing teams.
- Experience working with feature flag systems.
- Experience leading through other leads or managers.
