TL;DR

Location: Must be based in San Francisco, CA (Hybrid) or the Americas (UTC-3 to UTC-10)

Salary: $160,000–$200,000/year

What you will do

  • Own the documentation lifecycle, including API references, SDK guides, and quickstarts.
  • Create technical content such as tutorials, cookbooks, and integration guides that feature functional code examples.
  • Partner with engineering to document new features, release notes, and changelogs.
  • Collaborate with the growth team on SEO-driven technical content and comparison guides.
  • Triage and resolve documentation feedback from community channels like GitHub and Discord.
  • Maintain a consistent, direct, and developer-focused voice across all technical assets.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience writing for technical or developer-facing products.
  • Must be able to read Python or TypeScript SDKs and debug code examples.
  • US Citizenship or valid work visa required.
  • Strong ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Experience working with developer tools, APIs, or infrastructure products.
  • Ability to work autonomously without a pre-defined editorial calendar.
