Legal Counsel (AI): Providing commercial legal advice and drafting agreements for a group of digital brands with an accent on commercial law and data protection. Focus on implementing AI tooling to optimize legal productivity and driving business value through strategic legal support.

Location: Hybrid: 2 days per week in the London office (Tower Bridge)

What you will do

• Draft, negotiate, and execute commercial agreements with business teams.
• Identify and implement AI tooling and technology to improve productivity and quality within the legal function.
• Provide daily legal guidance, risk assessment, and mitigation.
• Advise business teams on compliance with data protection and e-privacy laws.
• Collaborate across the business to embed new ways of working, providing training and measuring impact.

Requirements

• Qualified to practice as a solicitor in England and Wales (or another common law jurisdiction).
• 1 to 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in-house or at a commercial law firm.
• Demonstrable experience implementing AI tooling and a passion for transforming legal processes.
• Proven technical ability to draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements under tight deadlines.
• Experience advising on IT, data protection, and e-privacy laws.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of intellectual property, competition law, and regulated sector experience.
• Experience in the insurance and/or financial services industries.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Harvey, Luminance, or Legora.
