What you will do

• Build and maintain labor models to track workforce efficiency and provide insights to operations leadership.
• Calculate and monitor overhead absorption rates and investigate monthly over/under-absorption variances.
• Perform detailed purchase price, usage, and efficiency variance analysis to drive cost improvements.
• Maintain accurate inventory valuation and prepare monthly roll-forwards across all inventory categories.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Operations, Engineering, and Logistics to ensure accurate cost recording.
• Assist with financial audits and recommend process improvements to ensure GAAP compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proven experience in cost accounting, standard costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
• Hands-on experience with inventory roll-forwards across RM, WIP, FG, and In-Transit categories.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/MRP systems.

Nice to have

• CPA or CPA eligibility.
• Experience with NetSuite.
• Familiarity with scrap tracking, MRB processes, or factory reporting.
