What you will do

• Design, execute, and troubleshoot experiments and assays under the guidance of Senior Scientists.
• Learn and apply analytical and computational methodologies to analyze results.
• Present scientific findings through internal written reports and verbal presentations at group meetings.
• Maintain rigorous documentation of all experimental details and results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement lab and bioinformatic workflows.
• Contribute to the organization and maintenance of the R&D laboratory.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Bioengineering, Molecular and Cell Biology, Microbiology, Biophysics, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of research experience (during or after degree).
• Extensive experience with standard molecular biology techniques, specifically PCR, electrophoresis, and DNA purifications.
• High mathematical and statistical aptitude.
• Meticulous attention to experimental detail and rigorous record-keeping.

Nice to have

• Startup experience.
• Knowledge of medical genetics or experience in a cell-free DNA setting.
• Experience with next-generation sequencing (NGS) library preparation.
• Experience with computational analysis using R, Python, or other programming languages.
