What you will do

• Own and develop cryptographic systems, protocols, and blockchain infrastructure for key management and signing flows.
• Design secure, compliant crypto infrastructure that meets the highest standards for correctness and reliability.
• Perform threat modeling and build defensive architectures using an adversarial mindset.
• Ensure all systems meet strict financial regulation and compliance requirements.
• Lead security reviews and maintain a high bar for code quality and production readiness.
• Mentor peers on crypto engineering best practices and foster a security-first culture.

Requirements

• Track record of building and operating cryptographic systems, blockchain infrastructure, or secure financial systems in production.
• Deep knowledge of cryptographic primitives, signing protocols, and consensus mechanisms.
• Strong software engineering skills in languages such as Go, Rust, Java, or Python.
• Experience in threat modeling, security reviews, and defensive architecture.
• Understanding of financial regulation as it applies to crypto and digital assets.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Palo Alto, USA.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ethereum, Bitcoin, or Solana integration patterns.
• Background in DeFi protocols, custody solutions, or institutional crypto infrastructure.
• Familiarity with HSMs, secure enclaves, and hardware-backed key management.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools.
