What you will do

• Build and architect the algo trading platform to ensure high quality and performance.
• Develop low-latency and high-throughput systems for brokerage services.
• Implement and optimize Order Management Systems (OMS) and Risk Management Systems (RMS).
• Design abstract distributed system architectures for high availability.
• Collaborate in a small team to make critical decisions regarding system scalability and object-oriented data modeling.

Requirements

• Must be based in the Americas.
• Professional software engineering experience with trading or exchange systems (OMS, EMS, market making, or algorithmic trading).
• Proficiency in low and high-level languages such as C/C++, Go, Zig, Rust, Java, Scala, or Python.
• Deep knowledge of algorithms, distributed systems, concurrency control, and scalability.
• Experience with messaging queues and message brokers.
• Strong system design skills including service-oriented architectures and system abstraction.

Nice to have

• Professional or personal experience in algorithmic trading.
• Knowledge of the FIX protocol.
• Experience with observability, tracing, continuous profiling, and benchmarking.
