What you will do

• Build, maintain, and optimize Azure infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
• Act as the senior escalation point for complex infrastructure and security incidents.
• Deliver cloud migration and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Administer endpoint management solutions using Microsoft Intune and Group Policy.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting through Azure Monitor.
• Manage identity and access via Azure AD (Entra ID) and Conditional Access policies.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to commute to York, UK for 4 days per week in the office.
• Strong 2nd/3rd line experience in infrastructure engineering within a mid-sized business.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Azure networking, governance, and security controls.
• Proven experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and endpoint protection.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting using PowerShell or Bash.
• Demonstrable SME-level expertise in at least one technical discipline.
