What you will do

• Maintain, improve, and extend an AI platform currently running in production.
• Manage a diverse stack covering backend development, data engineering, and cloud infrastructure.
• Translate business requirements into independent technical decisions.
• Collaborate directly with internal stakeholders and consumer teams.
• Establish and uphold engineering best practices for the platform.
• Act as the first line of defense for technical issues and system stability.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US due to project compliance and data security constraints.
• 6+ years of hands-on engineering experience with production systems.
• Strong production Python skills and solid software engineering fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, ECS, SQS, Bedrock, and RDS.
• Experience with analytical data pipelines using SQL and Spark.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI/ML systems or LLM-based applications.
• Background in DevOps or MLOps.
• Experience with container-based deployments and Lambda optimization.
• Prior consulting or professional services experience.
