What you will do

  • Lead the delivery of CX automation and AI initiatives from initial scoping and design through to production and iteration.
  • Build and maintain AI agents and automated workflows to improve specialist effectiveness and reduce manual handling.
  • Own the technical delivery of CX tooling, including integrations between Zendesk, internal platforms, and external REST APIs.
  • Manage complex, multi-phase technical programs, owning dependencies and communicating proactively across functions.
  • Define success metrics for automation initiatives and use operational data to validate impact and drive iterations.
  • Partner with engineering, product, and data teams to align on architecture and resolve deep technical constraints.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience building automation and integration systems specifically within a CX, support, or operations context.
  • Technical proficiency in designing and debugging APIs, webhooks, and using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor).
  • Solid experience with low-code/no-code workflow platforms such as n8n, Make, Zapier, or Retool.
  • Proven experience deploying AI agents in production, including designing for failure and implementing human oversight.
  • Strong programme management skills with the ability to scope complex initiatives and manage stakeholders.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken).
