What you will do

• Lead the organizational transition from functional roles to cross-functional, end-to-end ownership.
• Co-create the technical vision and roadmap with Tech Leads, balancing feature delivery with technical debt reduction.
• Spearhead the adoption of AI-native development practices and automation to increase engineering efficiency.
• Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and Product leadership to navigate trade-offs between sustainability and speed.
• Mentor and empower an international engineering team to foster autonomous decision-making.
• Oversee technical direction for data-heavy platform architecture, security, and privacy compliance.

Requirements

• Proven track record of leading engineering teams in a high-scale production environment.
• Fluent English proficiency is mandatory.
• Strong technical credibility with modern stacks, ideally PHP/Laravel and Vue.js.
• Experience in change management and building alignment during organizational transitions.
• Must be based in Europe with a preference for ±2 hours CET time zone.
• Product-first mindset with a focus on customer value and business impact.

Nice to have

• Domain understanding of SEO-related web technologies (crawling, indexing, content analysis).
• German language skills.
