Location: Kaiserslautern, Germany or Delft, Netherlands
Salary: €7,000–€8,250 per month

What you will do
- Lead one or two engineering teams with a technical mission in front-end, middleware, back-end, data, or platform engineering.
- Set technical direction and standards, make key technical decisions, and contribute to architecture decisions with enterprise architects and engineering peers.
- Own roadmap delivery, operational outcomes, quality, security, cycle time, and system stability.
- Coach and develop engineers, including supporting progression into senior and staff roles, and participate in hiring and talent decisions.
- Operate AI agents directly, build reusable subagents, evaluations, and workflows, and contribute them to shared libraries.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
- Experience as an engineering manager with a record of growing engineers and owning team delivery.
- Strong technical foundation in front-end, middleware, back-end, data, or platform engineering.
- Current personal practice of AI-native software delivery using Claude Code or an equivalent tool.
- Ability to work through ambiguity and legacy codebases, communicate clearly, and make difficult talent decisions.
- Experience with or understanding of technologies such as Java, MS SQL, Python, TypeScript, Vue, Postgres, Azure, Kubernetes, and Terraform is relevant to the environment.

- Experience leading a significant technical or operating-model change.
- Experience building and sharing subagents, evaluations, or CLAUDE.md conventions.
- Deep expertise in a relevant product domain.
