Data Engineer (Python)

TL;DR

Data Engineer (Python/SQL): Evolving internal self-serve data and agentic platforms by creating ELT flows for cross-functional data products with an accent on data modeling and pipeline scalability. Focus on building production-ready data lake infrastructure, optimizing ETL processes with Airflow and DBT, and collaborating with business stakeholders to drive data-driven value.

Location: Hybrid in Prague, Czech Republic (at least two days each week in the office)

What you will do

• Continuously evolve the self-service data infrastructure for internal business data products.
• Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using Python and SQL to support analytical needs.
• Manage and provide support for extraction and transformation tools to enable data product owners.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in Finance, Marketing, Product, and Sales to identify and plan requirements for the data and agentic platform.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in data engineering with a strong focus on data modeling.
• Strong experience building ETL pipelines with Python and using SQL with DBT.
• Experience with Apache Airflow for orchestration and BigQuery for warehousing.
• Familiarity with the Data Science process and ML learning models.
• English: Strong written and oral communication skills required.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work from the Prague office.
